GGG , changes to endgame are good. But please remove the EXP penalty on death

Sure, we all like a challenge. But I'm tired of wasting time & farming maps for an hour, just to die randomly to a stupid ground effect that I do not even see on my screen and my progress to be reset again with 10%....


I'm tired, I'm bored, I don't have the drive to level up anymore...
I'm tired of wasting one hour to farm EXP, then die to random things that I don't even see and loose 10%...
It's not a challenge, it's not fun. IT'S A STUPID MECHANIC THAT DOESN'T BRING CHALLENGE, ONLY BRINGS ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY TO WASTE TIME AND GET FRUSTRATED.

P.S: I'm running with full lightning,fire and cold resistances. My chaos resistance is at 60%


Armour is at 30% , Evasion 50% and Block is 31%
Yet i still die to random things from the ground that freeze,stuns, or oneshots me...

penalty is ok, but in other form. lets see... after death on maps your exp gain/rarity/etc reduced by 10% for next 3 maps and this stacks so if you died 5 times on single map you have 50% reduction for next 3 maps

Do you use omens? instant recovery is almost a must have for evasion builds right now. Omens have been a life saver so many times, I think they need to fix it. I think people are just not using them.

Are you using parry/raise shield with powerful enemies?
I kinda like the penalty because it makes levels actually matter.

Not everyone will reach certain levels simply because they cant grind enough without dying.

If the pentalty is removed then everyone will be 100 eventually

90% of recurring PoE 1 players never reach level 100, and you know why? Because nobody cares about 5 extra atlas points – you simply don’t need them to clear 100% of the content.

Yes everyone knows about omens but it's completely ridiculous we need to waste exalts or hope to find them just to bring the exp penalty down to a manageable level.

It's exactly the same as capping your res. It requires an investment, a trade-off. Those are the rules of PoE
Omens were a good idea but atm if you play SSF the only way to get them is to be really lucky. In trade it becomes a never ending cycle of farming currency to buy more of them from other people. You could buy 5 for example and within 2 or 3 maps you would need to buy 5 more because some of the mobs are nuts, including the rare mob that chases you around the map with mana drain, and the mob that some how has managed to get hold of a beam weapon from a ship in Elite Dangerous that can hit you from half way across the map.

No it's not the same at all. Once I cap my res I don't have to keep buying res off the market and activate it in my inventory. And as the post above stated, SSF players don't even have that option, they just get to hope the rng gods are nice to them
