" Funny enough the mods that have been discussed so far in here. Like amulets and what not. Homogenizing only guaranteed the end result which was usually resists or stat groups. You still can make these just with a little bit of RNG with catalyzing omens. Which you can guarantee annul if you dont get the desired result and do it over again. Everyone that responded to me with whilting and "10 divs per try" really just dont know how to craft. Mash the clean

I'm very disappointed they removed this crafting method. It was fun and engaging and allowed for semi deterministic crafting. It was necessary. For all these people complaining about crafting power being too high yada yada yada are just trying to gate keep so they can cook the market and over charge. The average player even with this method existing could barely craft anything useful anyways, and could hardly afford its use anyways. Deterministic crafting is necessary to some degree for the AVERAGE PLAYERS INTEREST. For all the people against deterministic crafting go back to gatcha mobile gambling, GAMBLING SHOULD NOT BE THE MAIN CRAFTING MECHANIC

As a hideout warrior, I'm skipping this league and any leagues after if they don't introduce anything to make it even a tiny bit more deterministic.
I don't expect poe2 craft to be as complicated/deterministic as poe1, but I might as well play online casino instead of exalt slamming. " Neither is spamming Orb of Augmentation + Orb of Annulment to get the desired mod on a magic item any different. It’s basically the same as an Exalt slam, just in another form. You can easily spend 100 Annuls trying to get the mod you want this way. Then you apply an Essence which is getting nerfed next patch to try to hit a decent T2. Okay, what other options do we have, my friend? What secret do you know that we don’t? You can go to the well and get something decent but again, hitting anything T1 is mega expensive Homogenizing Omens is the only way to truly deterministicly craft something that actually gives you a chance to get what you want. Omen of Whittling is 10 divines per click, and yes, it’s more deterministic, but the cost completely gatekeeps it. It’s not accessible to everyone. Homogenizing omen must stay. I do not understand why one currency sink for crafting is better than another.
