I'm really disappointed in WHY Homogenising Exaltation was removed

I guess we'll have to see what happens.
I can see why having access to full T1 gear through omens (even if it wasn't the exact 6 affixes you want) would be considered bad, but homo omen was the one currency gluing everything else together to enable full crafts. Wish we could at least have a comparable currency that can only roll up to T3 homo-affixes. I would also argue Essence of Abyss was far more OP, but that's a whole other topic. |

" But you still have acceess to T1 with omens. Just use Omen of whittling. But instead of spending 200 div on craft you are going to spend 2000div on craft The tankiest character in 0.3 without an energy shield - https://poe.ninja/poe2/builds/abyss/character/fil0sofen-7545/szmichalwoj

Has to be some give and take with crafting.
Path of Exile staple. With homogenising omens. You just could complete items with every mod you wanted. Regardless of tier or not and it would be cheap. Especially amulets and rings. With catalysing you just had perfect items. Perfect +3 amulets were stupid cheap all league. Tri damage rings all stupid cheap. Its something that clearly was broken and needed removed. And thankfully it was. Mash the clean

" It was cheap for blasters like us. Cheap is a very relative term. Most people weren't doing those crafts. I will agree that +3 on amulets, +6/7 on weapons and tyrannical or comparable mods should be rare and rng-based to make ground loot valuable, but was it really that bad to have reliable "solid" full T3 crafts? Do you really think we needed the item REMOVED and not just nerfed? Another solution was to just add more tags/mods to dilute the mod pool. Homo was only OP because it allowed us to guarantee 4-5 specific affixes. The problem with ground loot is that even if you get 2 or 3 high tier mods, you need to somehow get rid of the -attribute requirements or light radious trash. It would be A LOT better if items dropped with let's say a maximum of 4 mods when rare. Then I would be ok with homo omen being removed. That, or make dextral/sinistral annulment much more common. " The removal of this omen alone is making me to consider not playing 0.4, and the fact that they haven't fixed end game yet for a total of 3 leagues, back to slam and pray boys. Maybe i'm going to check the league for a week or 2 then stop completely. |
|
" With some of the most basic crafting in the game. Im talking real basic. You get 4 mods that you want at ANY tier guaranteed through just essence and abyss. " Yes because its not just about the tiers its also about the combination. Again jewelry was extremely broken for them because we have catalyzing already. Youd just print any item you wanted. Tier AND combination is what makes an item. If you can just have everything but at a lower tier...T3... t4.... then you arent really solving anything. This applies especially to things like armour where you dont care if a resist is t3 or even t5. List goes on for stuff like this. Mash the clean

" - Only worked for certain bases/items. - Won't have abyss in every map now. - The "any" tier part is false. Aside from that, would you rather have a league where everyone can become relatively OP through crafting or one where only the 0.01% can achieve it? Did you play 0.1/0.2? " This isn't true, because many things didn't have tags that allowed them to work with the Homogen omens or the mod pool with the tag you cared about was big enough that you still don't have full control over what you would get. Just look at good +3 to projectile skills amulets. Those weren't cheap. Those were like 100+ divs, because that modifier didn't have a tag. The same is true for a lot of the martial weapons. Almost every mod on those had the Attack tag. So, the homogen omens didn't really do much for you on those, which means harder crafts, which means far more expensive items. Also, the catalyzing omen was not very effective. The chance it added to get what you want was pretty low. Последняя редакция: avastcosmicarena#5899. Время: 5 дек. 2025 г., 16:47:13
