RMT sucks, for sure. My thing is, why are people this upset that people at the top RMT?

If someone RMTs their way to the top, with no other redeeming qualities regarding their gameplay, do you really think they will stay there? Do you think just RMTing will even get you to the top?

Not trying to defend the guys who RMT. But, let's just have some perspective here. It affects Johnny Average Player as much as capital gains tax increases affect people living under the poverty line.

Botting is the real enemy here. RMT without botting would be a truly expensive venture, wouldn't you agree? Imagine an economy where exalts are TRULY as rare as they should be. How much ya think people would charge for them, then?

And as much proof as it takes to ban an RMTer, from what I have gleaned from conversations with people who know Chris personally, he spends a LOT of time on his laptop just banning and deleting the accounts of botters, because apparently that is much easier to detect.

So try to calm down. GGG is working on it.

I don't dispute that at all. I bolded the part I feel is important, because this seems like yet another issue that only really affects those who are at the top... but seemingly no one at the top is complaining. Just everyone else.

This means one of two things. Either everyone at the top RMTed their way there, with no skill involved whatsoever, or the people at the top just don't give a shit how everyone else got there.

Let me pose a question: What advantage does an RMTer have over a popular streamer? Streamers often get everything they want handed to them, for free. So, why are people not equally outraged by this?

Is it not completely ruining your own personal experience in the same way that RMT does? Why?

I'm only touching on the competitive aspect of RMT, here. It's a multifaceted issue that clearly goes deeper than this. I just honestly don't understand the rage that it induces.

GGG checked the proof, checked the trade history of the accounts and couldn't find anything that proves 100% they RMT'd. What should GGG do? Of course they will send them the shirt.
