People who want respecs are the people who want to come in, make one char, get him to 100, complain about the grind and leave. The people that GGG are looking for are the people who will reroll character after character for the experience in crafting a build, people who participate in most races and or ladders and people who at the end of their journey have made more characters than they can remember.

Respecs are just a way for people to get through the content faster, get bored quicker and leave the game sooner; why would GGG ever want that?

The longer this game goes on the less demand for respecs, because most of the players will have moved on to easier games or finally realize why having to build a character from Level one is a good thing, and not a bad thing.
