Constructive feedback on 'fractured' (map mods)
Yet not a single post to why one should do fracture mods..

fracture mod is not fun, it is very very laggy, it takes forever to clear a map and is very risky. The reward for those downsides (plus what OP said) isn't good at all. Please review this mod and change it asap. It is a major waste of time. Every time we run one of these, the map after it, if it have no fracture mod, feels like heaven. Temp chains + chilled ground + extra mob life isn't as painful than Fracture alone!

" I prefer by far facing fractured mobs then temporal chain maps, ( with the exception of phys reflect + vunlerability maps which I would reroll anyway, too tedious ). SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.

" Temporal Chains can be more dangerous in situations where you need to escape, but I'd have to say that the Fractured mod is far worse. It isn't just the slower clear speed; there are many reasons why the mod ruins the gameplay experience. GGG seriously needs to do something about this. Not to mention that this mod seems to be the most common mod to roll on maps now. It is such a currency sink trying to get a decent map without the fracture mod. " it depends on the build I guess ( which is a good thing ), but it does not give enough qty bonus yet, I agree. I also didn't experience the same pattern as your guild did, I rolled fracture twice and I've been running 5~10 rare maps since 1.1.0. I didn't get fracture on the blue maps I rolled which is about the same amount or little less I'd say. SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.

Maybe one solution to be fracture doable would be only two extra mobs and increase a bit the reward iQ of maps.

Got fracture with an unidentified map and it was hilarious. I was a bit disappointed that the boss didn't fracture, too.

But I prefer doing a map 30 minutes instead of 15 where I can actually see the mobs.. Its not effecient? Bad luck.. I've never rerolled a temp chains if it had a good item quantity (sometimes u just need to be a bit patient). However, running a fractured mod where I'm getting desynced all the time is just asking for xp loss. Further, running the risk of dcing and not being able to enter a map at all (constant dc the second u enter) is a waste of maps (not such a big issue when ur running a 66 map, but hey, wasting a good 76 map because of dc is just a nogo) " And this is the point I'm trying to make indeed. I'm pretty happy with how map mechanics work at the moment. Some are good for ur build, some are bad. Some are easy with low awards, some are hard with big(ger) rewards. The 'issue' is that these mechanics are not extended into the fractured mod. First, there's no build that this mod is good for. In the most positive sense we could call it 'less annoying' for aoe-heavy builds. Second, for a mod which has the potential to kill u anytime, the rewards are not great. Fractured--> Temporal chains --> Enfeeble --> summoners all over the place. Taking 40-50 minutes for 1 map was fine. Annoying, but fine.. But constant 'trying to hit a mob' that isn't there, is just annoying. Now it was only annoying when it was against summoners, desync for 5 seconds is a death vs Carnage. " I'm not sure if there is a 'solution' to fractured. I've given an example in this thread where I finished literally all mobs around Carnage, untill there were 2 left. These 2 caused such a desync when fracturing that I was running away for 5 seconds, but in fact was just standing next to Carnage for 5 seconds.. This was my last experience with fractured.
