What is your honest opniion about Grim Dawn compared to POE?

GD is really good game and if people are arpg fans, they should play it when the game is released.

No. It actually comes from constant updates and new things added to the game. If the game after release didnt get any more updates than few bug fixes, be sure the game would be a lot less popular and played.

you can cheat and dupe items in any single player, non-competitive game.
the question, is, why ?

it merely speaks to strength of your character (and I dont mean in-game character) if you choose to cheat like that.

Annnnd you can't cheat in POE?

I fail to see how this could be a knock against the game..

You can cheat if you find an exploit. And you will get banned in no time...


In GD you can dupe all. I farmed 2-3 SoT keys and i converted them into ~800 in 20min with a friend, just by thinking a little

If you cheat here, gz, you found a rare exploit but thats all. I dont know anybody here that cheated and didnt get banned

do you play other single-player games ? like you know you can enable console and enter god mode on any single player fps out there.

the point is as long as you have access to actual memory that governs a game, you can cheat (either yourself or via external tools)

the question is why a watchdog that stands over you and slaps your hand when you try to cheat, that important to you ?

GD is a noncompetitive game. playing GD isnt about penis measuring or copying save files trying to get the best items.

The GD trailers don't look that great, graphics wise, quite 'muddy'. I'll be interested to see how it evolves.

I enjoyed Grim Dawn and found the gameplay to be quite fun. I couldn't really get very excited about any of the skills on any of the classes and I agree with whoever mentioned more focus on single attack skills which is pretty repetitive.

The game is pretty dark and has some interesting lore and side quests/zones so if you enjoy arpgs and want something single player (in itself a major selling point) then it's worth checking out. Just don't expect a 1000 hour time sink.

One thing in GD that beats poe as well as any other arpg since D1 is the music which is amazing.

Again the 'you can cheat' argument, I guess you people never play any single player games? And you can cheat in PoE too so pls.

Grim Dawn is FANTASTIC.
The only problem is I clear all the content in a week or so...
I love the crafting, the questing, the factions, how the mobs scale with you, the secret areas, the guns, and the skill trees.

But PoE rocks the content. Ill be one-monthing here.
