Reave, Cleave, Dual Strike, Double Strike, all the mana leech based skills who were running hatred + a defense aura and fueling off 2% mana leech with the 16% unreserved mana they had from 2x 60%s with reduced mana gem? those builds just got shafted by the aura change. Well yes, that would be the logical approach, there's no competition for gem slots in an aura setup, there are no other supports that work with them so that's a bad idea if you want to increase investment in aura chars, an otherwise free gem slot is no investment.

The logical way would be to evenly scatter a large total amount of reservation in small amounts all over the tree, if aura stacking is powerful you should make sure a char is very tight on points after he accomplishes that. Or is everything except time/currency investment irrelevant? Maybe the passive tree is a failed concept too?
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

Goetz' suggestion is mediocre because Enhance could be so, so much more than it is in terms of auras.

Reduced Mana absolutely needs to be addressed as an aura balance issue. The "how" is the only debatable element.

Absolutely any change to auras, regardless of form, will lead to a mass forum outcry by Standard League "men of the people" such as Anuhart.

Anuhart isn't selfish enough and needs to get in touch with his poor, abused ego.

How so enhance has a mana MULTIPLIER it cannot be used to reduce the cost of auras more then its own cost.....

Only true if considerably less than 1% less per point of quality. (0.56% is the actual breakpoint.)

Using Hatred and Herald of Ash nearly doubles my dps with a cyclone build that has no aura investments. Fix reduced mana AND the power of auras, imo.

And they're planning to remove inner force, for one. But if you get auras nerfed for my poor dual claw user I will hunt you down and give your address and phone number to a rabid telemarketing company. Cyclone is good because it's cyclone, though in all honesty I don't notice much difference in clear speed once you get over 20k tooltip.

Cyclone is the only melee skill that is performing good enough in Closed beta. Buff rest rather than nerf Cyclone.

Your logic goes right over the GGG "balancing team"'s heads. Whenever faced with something that is stronger or better in any way than other options, they have always resorted to nerfing that, instead of bringing everything else up to that level. What do you think the reason that all of us are complaining is?

Just look at all patches since release.
Love the games. PoE1 way more so than PoE2, but still enjoying both.

Hate the company. The scummy, lying, fake and shitty facade, the excuses, the failures, and most of all, the "Vision".

Keep both of those in mind when reading my posts.
