Why do you insist on using redit instead of your site

Last time someone actually bothered to look into it and count posts, it was close, but there were more dev posts happening here on the forums than on reddit, despite many people's insistence to the contrary.

A generic "count" is completely invalid. 90+% of dev posts on your site (this site) are "Hey, keep is civil guys! Here's our code of conduct!" If you look at actual substance, there's not a lot going on here at all.
I believe the count was of developer posts, not support.
I don't really mind having informations on different plateforms it became common with others games aswell now-a-days ( Twitter and official forums mostly reddit is still the less used ) but i think some of them are enough important to be centered on main forum and often tend to end on reddit instead.

Certainly not the first world problem anyway :)
Hf :)
Because if they didn't, people would occasionally post "why are you ignoring the half of your community on Reddit" threads instead of ones like this.
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, weighing all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?
Agreed, OP.

It's bizarre.

Many of us read reddit in what little spare time we have, and it's not anyone's business to tell us not to take advantage of that platform to communicate something if we see an opportunity to do so while we're there.

Of course not, it is just unprofessional.

Well, to be more precise, it is not our job to tell you not to communicate important information about the game on reddit, that would be the job of your boss.

At least, that is how I see it.

I do appreciate getting an answer to this but there has been at least 2 times that I know of that impending item changes that swung the economy on some items was posted on redit and had no information in the changes listed for the patch notes. Kind of makes it unfair and borderline insider trading kind of info.
Then they should just charge me extra for goods and services and bump up the wages.

In addition, for small bits of information that aren't worth making a news post for, but are useful to get out there to the comminity at large, it's more beneficial for the community as a whole for that information to be on reddit than posted in a thread here, because more people will find it there. If I answer a question here, the poster and anyone else who finds the thread will see it. If I answer a question on reddit, regardless of actual importance it gets upvoted to the point lots of people will see it.

Why not both though? Wouldn't that reach even more people?
I think one of the biggest issues is that people from GGG almost never reply to anything in the Feedback and Suggestions forum, which, to many people, makes it seem like you don't care about us. I've written plenty of suggestion threads and I have no clue if any of you guys have read them. If you have read them, I still have no clue what you think or what your opinions are on any of those issues.

When I bump my thread as a reminder that self found play is still in shitsville, and keep offering suggestions that would improve this while at the same time improving the game for everyone who doesn't play self found, is this doing any good? Have any of you read my arguments? Have you understood them? Do you agree with them? I have no clue, and eventually it starts to feel like you don't care about POE players and are actively ignoring us (which, to be honest, you clearly are when it comes to this forum).

Let's be honest here: this thread about GGG employees not posting on this site is the only thread GGG people are replying to in the Feedback and Suggestions forum. You understand that this doesn't prove him wrong, right? Chris personally responds to feedback on the subreddit all the time, but here we get silence.

Not the only one but you still have the point - responses in other 4 threads on last 20 pages are(didn't count support posts at all):
-2x"please contact us via email";
-one Breach mechanics clarification(in response to wrong assumption about that mechanics)
-and the last one was in that body armor/grand spectrum armor calculation bug thread.
So, 20 pages of topics and only one true dialogue, and even that one was on the case where the bug was so obvious and easy to test, ignoring it would be an ultimate FU in the face of the community. No responses on suggestions whatsoever.
Don't get me wrong, I understand that GGG aren't only that handful of people we see on forums, and their thoughts on suggestions may differ from what would be a resulting "official" opinion if that suggestions were brought to internal discussion but, as previous posters said, it'd still be good to see at least some reaction to at least some thought-out suggestions.
And worst change is putting almost all bosses in new version of maps into fucking small areas, where you can't kite well or dodge stuff. What a terrible idiot invented that I want say to him: dude flick you, seriously flick you very much.
