That is also not a solution, nor is it useful feedback. This is a feedback forum.

No, I will keep giving my feedback about this bad design until it is fixed. And I will keep paying all my divines to the kind souls that do boss carries and exp rotas, cus they deserve em all for saving my sanity by allowing me to completely walk around and ignore exp loss.

I'd rather sit all day and do 50 Sanctum runs than do a single map where I even have a 0.1% chance of dying. Imagine dying at lvl99 and the amount of time wasted for no reason. This mechanic should and will be forgotten forever, left in the ancient past because that's where it belongs. Outdated and archaic is what exp loss is.

Option 1: I reached level 90 and the game is designed for a level 90 character. I have the option to get even stronger if I am good.

The level doesn't matter. You get more dps by buying better gear off trade obviously, how else lmao

Pointless argument. If lvl90 is what its designed for, then make the cap 90. Simple as that. Or just let people have fun instead of having their time deleted. The year is 2025 not 2000. It's time for this game to let go of these pointless designs just because "D2 had it" or whatever.
Give the same defenses we have in PoE1, give the same HP scaling as in PoE1, the same ability to roll your content as in PoE1 and the same exp requirement for lvl 100 as in PoE1.

Then having exp penalty on death is somewhat ok. In PoE2 as it is , its spitting in your face and calling it rain.

Enough of this argument dude. This makes no sense on so many levels. Level loss starts at maps. If it is such a great design they should've left it in the campaign. They didn't, because it SUCKS. If this was in campaign, nobody would've ever written a good review for the campaign of this game.

Level caps are artificial. They can make it 150 for all I care. This thread is for experience loss and how pointless it is.

Never heard GGG claims the game is designed for a level 90 character. Sounds like something you pulled out of thin air and declared as fact just to win an argument.

If you reach 100 you can get stronger with gear and different passives while having more flexibility in the skill tree. You still have to be good and put in the time to reach 100 with no exp loss

And still I and others agree. You get level 90 by facerolling on your keyboard but after that progression gets harder exponentially. That cannot be a coincidence. The levelling starts with 90 and it is more of a challenge than it is necessary for any kind of content.
Why new players so obsessed with getting experience?
Like getting couple levels will not make your character so much stronger you could actually see difference aside of a bit higher numbers in tooltip.
