GGG , changes to endgame are good. But please remove the EXP penalty on death

they really need to remove this horrible thing

only people fight for xp loss is the people that are too [Removed by Support] to play HC but want SC to have the same pain feelings. I dont play ARPG to go backwards and I never play HC in any games. Why force HC lite mechanics in SC? Seeiously dont get what xp loss adds to thw game. As I said in my invisible post earlier most people even with XP loss NOT in the game would still not hit 100 because it takes an unrealistic dedication to the game. How about a compromise.... move it to like 90 or something.

XP loss isn't a HC mechanic, its a Diablo II mechanic, like that game that pioneered this genre ?

You also lost a bunch of your gold and had to retrieve your corpse from the monsters that killed you with no armour, no resistances, and all of your potions dropped into your inventory / on the ground

Man all these people. Please GGG, just make children's mode for them without penalties. Give them their own mode. Just make the game easy for them. They do not need to be part of normal SC or ruthless SC whatever you wanna call it.

Or turn it around: Make an "insufferable elitist" mode where everyone thinking they are gods gift to gaming can go to play an eternal game of one-upmanship!

Why not. Do it.
And let it run until release. Then we compare numbers. The mode with less numbers is gone. All in for that.

What is being asked for is not reasonable. This game has the reputation of being difficult. There must be penalty for bad play somewhere. 10% xp loss is nothing. Because xp loss means something, improving my gear has meaning. What's so difficult to understand?

It's like saying, I wanna use an old pentium4, but not wait for processing to finish because it's not fun. Pentium4 should perform like 9800X3D. Anyone who buys a 9800X3D is an annoying elitist.

I got tired of reading the same thing in different words about "figure out how not to die".

10% XP loss on death sucks, period.

Why, because in some cases it seems like whatever caused the death is unknown, unseen, unavoidable.

Some people (casuals) who have limited time to play each day can be set back "days" by losing 10%. This has a tune out, turn off effect. Is that what GGG desires?

Reduce/Remove the XP loss, or on each death in map player gets choice: lose x% XP or the map node, or a better idea from someone else...

Personally, I do not see the need for on death penalty. Having a penalty will have an effect on popularity of the game.

If casuals aren't wanted at high levels, the prevention method is simply dps checking / mechanics.

No need for a penalty.
