go check the desync threads, 1 in 10 reply is somebody saying "i never get desync" or "I get desync maybe 1-2 times a year"

ive yet to die to desync but it certainly happens, especially vs creamtorium boss on -max resist.

Do you really find it unfeasible that out of the geographical distribution of PoE's players, more than 10% of them are close enough to a server that they have a very low ping and thus experience VERY minimal desync with the server?

I'm one of the more than 10% that do I'm sure, so like I said, sucks to be you :P

I agree and i aknowledge that the proximity is a huge factor and those people dont get much desync, but thats my point. Most of them use the argument "i dont get that much desync" to decrease the importance of this issue just because its not affecting them and they dont give a fuck about other players

I rarely have issues with desync, it happens and I move on. It isn't this constant thing rendering gameplay impossible. Yes it exists. Yes certain skills/playstyles make it worse. Yes some people blame lag and a host of other things on desync. No desync will never be 'fixed'.

I dont think that anybody that knows how desync works is stupid enough to ask for a Fix
people usually mean by "fix", to lessens it

I pretty much used to not care about desync till I started playing a cyclone build. No I am not using multistrike with it, even though the desync that monsters causes is actually hilarious.
I was used to having desync and /oos command fixing it but now with using cyclone I'm quite often desynced for a long while when like for 5-10 seconds /oos has no effect on anything.
Imagine how easy it is to die in that time.

I had a cyclone build. It's just terrible playing it, will never do again. It's really not fun when you have no idea where your character will end up.

desync is really really really really frusterating and annoying.

Its responsible for literally 95% of my deaths. And i'm not some overexaggerating babbling idiot. I've been playing since OB and i can tell you now that it hasn't gotten any better.

its probably 10x worse if you use any movement skill or melee skill. If you play like double totem spec or something you wont notice it AS much.

But honestly when you're fighting such bosses as collonade boss which are incredibly dangerous and take meticulous kiting for some builds its very very frusterating to be constantly desyncing.

Different people, different play styles. Some suck dicks at softcore, some trade all day in town. Of course they don't have much desync problems. You can stay in town and trade for 10 hours (its pretty much all the endgame is about) and experience... NO DESYNC HOLY SHIT!!!
And some people trying to be competitive in races, trying to do things as fast as possible - of course they will die from desync if they don't know perfectly how to avoid it. I saw lots of desync-not-exists-ima-diamond-supporter guys with private profiles, of course they hide their sofctore crap profiles with 0 lifetime points after first notice they got about they shitty noobish play style. No desync for them, sure.
