"Jew" as abbreviation for Jeweller's Orb
No idea why weak bait threads about non-issues get so much attention.

"^this even before opening a thread I knew what it was about was unsure though because it had 4 pages but OP confirmed my suspicions And worst change is putting almost all bosses in new version of maps into fucking small areas, where you can't kite well or dodge stuff. What a terrible idiot invented that I want say to him: dude flick you, seriously flick you very much.

I find the reaction to the OP's post far more offensive than the use of the word jew as an abbreviation.
"Calm the fuck down" and stuff like that. As if the post were a rant or filled with hyperbole. Or--more likely--as if the mere mention of any issue considered the purview of the EVIL Social Justice Warriors (may they and their ilk rot in hell for eternity) should be shot down immediately. So I'll throw the suggestion right back. You lot need to "calm the fuck down." It's OK to talk about this kind of thing, you know. Disagreeing is fine. I happen to disagree. But getting your panties in a twist and getting super offended that someone should dare to bring up the topic of a potentially offensive language usage is hilarious hypocrisy. Also a little pathetic. "The only part of that I disagree with is how it's a losing battle. Take for example the attempted reverse euphemization of "gay." This was a very real thing (fuck you again, Cobain) and had a decent amount of usage. However, there was a defense mounted with strong social push-back; instead of retreating in shame, the relevant community embraced the term with pride (to include parades). The result has been that the term "gay" still predominantly refers to "homosexual" rather than "lame." Ultimately, this type of thing is a numbers battle, with the potential for community split between defense and cowardice. Movements like People First Language have unfortunately gained a lot of traction within the disabled community, advocating a euphemistic embrace of phrases like "differently abled" and labeling the entire word "autistic" as offensive, preferring instead the ridiculous term "person with autism." This would be like if the homosexual community had abandoned "gay" entirely and demanded to be referred to as "persons with homosexual preferences." It should be obvious that the similarity between "autistic" and "autism" means such a stance will eventually lead to a euphemism-packed renaming of the condition. Goodbye, shell shock; hello, post-traumatic stress disorder. I firmly believe that this civil war within the autism community will ultimately decide the issue. If the community stands their ground, ultimately the terms will be defended. If the community continues to concede at the first resistance, then ownership of the terminology is lost. Unfortunately, People First Language has strong appeal with the usually overprotective parents of autistic children, and the autistic are at a disadvantage in speaking for themselves. When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted. Последняя редакция: ScrotieMcB#2697. " You do know SJWs are trying to ban the usage of the word "lame", right? It's offensive to people with disabilities, they say. How many people really think about the original definition of the word when using it, and do you agree with them that the use of the word "lame" is offensive toward disabled people? If not... you're being a hypocrite. Regarding the use of the word "autistic" is actually rather apt. If I say someone is acting autistic, I am not saying they are a person belonging to the autism spectrum, what I am saying is exactly what I am saying: their behavior is autistic in nature. Much like I could say "that's gay" if some guy talks about how he likes sucking dicks. This is regardless whether or not he's a homosexual, the act itself - a guy sucking dicks - is gay. Would you agree that some autistic behavior is bad? And that this behavior is just the type that gets people's ire because it is something that happens in social interactions. Nobody cares if a person stays at home and builds matchstick houses, but people do care if someone stares at an open fracture with fascination and doesn't understand they should call for help because it's a serious situation and the other person is hurting. In certain situations autistic people can appear to be the worst kind of assholes you can imagine, so is it a wonder when people see this outstandingly negative behavior and use the term "autistic" to describe it? Simply put: "autistic people do autistic things, but not all those who do autistic things are autistic". Последняя редакция: Idioticus#7813. Время: 9 окт. 2016 г., 04:59:31

^ "disabled" is also offensive, they are "differently abled". Muh cozy safe space... :P
Actually, this thread is inspiring. Seeing SJW bullies getting countered by rational response puts some faith back into humanity. Regarding the abbreviation "jew" used for a jeweler orb - only bigoted people and SJWs would immediatelly make the connection to "greed, Jews & money". A normal person wouldn't even think about it. Because a normal person knows this term is used within the confines of a game environemnt and doesn't mean anything more than being a useful abbreviation. When night falls
