Reaching Crit Cap is relatively easy, assuming the enemy has Assassin's Mark on them. Don't overpay for a +Crit Chance Hatred Watcher's Eye. This build has tons of damage, and quickly reaches gem level diminishing returns @ Level 30. Remember this when you're trying to break the bank for even more gem levels. People vastly underrate life and defense. Get Life on all gear pieces, spend passive points on Life. You'll die less and probably feel better about things. Try to get Chaos Res to at least > 0. Make sure you get 100% Elemental Ailment Avoidance, with the Stormshroud + boot implicit method mentioned in the guide, or by crafting Avoidance implicit on your Shield and also using the Avoidance implicit on your boots (which still have the Avoidance explicit). If you're mapping, you really want to use Awakened AOE once your damage is good enough. It'll feel so much better. If your DPS is low or you're running specific content like Sanctum, then certainly keep using Conc Effect instead. This build doesn't get a ton of power from rare jewels and the passive tree, most of the power comes from gem levels, gear, and OP interaction between Heatshiver and Hatred. Even Cluster Jewels are relatively weak compared to other builds, though don't overlook the importance of 2 Medium Totem clusters. Oh and an accurate Path of Building setup for yourself is crucial!! Alot of good info here...answered some of the other questions I had...In regards to body armour, rightnow playing with a Dialla's...im assuming better choice for alittle more defense is to switch to lords?...im at decent damage but alittle too squishy for my liking...dang projectiles are a pita...lol.. Yes firing squad style projectiles, like from the Blue influence mobs, are a reliable source of death. Honorable mention goes out to Skeleton Mages, who are incredibly overtuned and will just shotgun your face off if you move/dash into them at the wrong time. To die less, try to not Flame Dash blindly forward, especially where your totems don't have coverage yet. Dashing like that can cause enemy mobs to projectile shotgun you before you even notice. As for the Blue influence mobs, they really should be dying before they get their attacks off. Proper coverage with your totems will do this, and make sure the pack dies when they spawn, before you run ahead. You can get yourself killed by forgetting about a Blue pack, running or dashing back and then they blast you. So, getting 2 clusters + 3 grand spectrums + watcher's eye + stormshroud + forbidden flame/flesh combo + unnatural instinct is somewhat difficult.
