I would agree this is something for ssf or hard-core, but for trade league this is a toxic thing to exist.
It's litterally a tool for the rich become richer.
This at one point wasn't as bad (d2 days) but now people have made playing their life.
As these people sink 100's of hours get the best gear and flood the market it makes trading directly harder for the more casual players.
Time already rewards them for playing more this is just a reward multiplier for streamers/bots.
actually that`s just FOMO introduced by Zizzaran and his friends
and the Quantity bonus introduced by Party play ... that you probably seen Empyrian's team playing with ... but reality is that rarity it`s not broken as they make it sound or look ... I played with 500-600 rarrity and had streaks of 4-5 maps in a row where i was leaving the map with 2 exalts ...I had streak of maps with 2-3 breaches where I was leaving the map with 4-5 exalts ..that is not breaking anything ... ther`s a cap at 100-150 don`t know exactly and everything after that is somewhat useless... what you see when you look at Empyrian is actually 600% quantity bonus for currency from party bonus combined with 100-150 Quantity bonus from tablets ... and propper juiced maps because 6 players and 3 traders can afford to invest in a map almost unlimited resources.... yeah they are juicing ...
don`t belive everything you hear from streamers ... Quantity is the big offender here ... not rarrity

Rarity is past of any good arpg.
You need to find a balance between dps and rarity. It comes at a cost. The greedy players are punished as their build will suck. Therefore, it adds depth and customization.
Why would you ever want to reduce that? It's only people complaining who fail to incorporate rarity into their builds.
You don't need 500 rarity, get about 100 and you find decent loot (from my experience).

All the positive externalities of rarity in the economy happen over time without rarity. A longer cycle where things average players can drop are valuable is a GOOD thing that extends seasons.
Treating rarity like a resistance is a bad idea because the entire game will feel bad in spite of a player doing the right things unless the prioritize rarity.
It has a disproportional reward for getting to certain points early which stack with the already significant rewards for being ahead of the curve.
It's a terrible and outdated idea, and nobody has been able to show me anything to counter what I said here yet.

In a Empirian party .. you get 500 or 600% quant for currency , then you get another 100% Quant + from Tablets then invest 50-60 exalts in a map... and you get a full screen of loot ... with 420% rarrity ...
I had 600 rarrity and tested everything i could for a full week 14h/day ...
i had streaks(Plural) of 4-5 maps in a row where i would walk out of the map with 2 exalts
I had Streaks (Plural) of maps with 2-3 breaches where I would walk out of the map with 4-5 exalts
but if you think zizaran on SSF knows better ... then you do you bro .. I personally don`t care about rarrity ... but I can`t let Streamers lie to the community ! I`m sick of lies in POE from all sorts from streamers over the years ... that`s the sole reason I did this post !!!
And to give you a reason why it's good ... it`s because you get better drops and better drops means more fun in the game, get that addrenaline rush more often when you see Tier 5 items and 3-4 exalts form 1 monster ... it`s cool!!!

I know ... you really don`t need more, I tried a full week starting at 500% ending at 643% ... I was seeing the same drops as 150 ... ther`s just a mob full of FOMO created by Zizaran and Plater-on >:) !! that belive rarrity is bad ... when in reality it`s the Quantity ... it`s alway`s been Quantity ... get a full party 600% quant for currency , 100-150 Quant from Tablets , spend unlimited amouts of currency on maps.. and you get Full screen of loot ( Emperian's Party)

This take is stupid because it cant be tied directly to rarity, MoM/EB archmage stormweavers dont run rarity at all, they need the ammy for gaze and rings for dream frags, so ho are they using rarity?

Towns eat up to much resources ? Skill issue !!! The rare is in the wall and you can`t kill it Skill issue !! The game is Great !!! :))) so now they went from Stokholm Sindrome to Cults !!

Yup, I agree. Nothing wrong with Item Rarity or even Item Quantity builds.
The only reason they're an issue is because the game is balanced around an economy. Which as you can see, limits builds. Hence, is probably something that should be looked at with scrutiny. Much of this game is balanced around the Economy. I feel like it negatively detracts from quite a significant portion of this game.

I'll hit you with the reverse, I havent heard anything from anti-magic finders that doesnt ammount to "well it feels bad to use" but also "it feels bad to not use", basically "feels" over the reality of the stat.
We cant balance the game on feelings my guy, its been shown and continues to be shwon that rarity stops giving gains past 100-150, which if you wish can be gotten on two rings and helmet tops. If you DONT you can always juice your maps, set up tablets and blast through "hard content" and get the same returns.
You dont HAVE to use MF, you just think you do because ziz the blue cried on stream about it.
