I literally CAN tell devs this. It's a feedback forum dude. I "think" something based of my understanding and experience just like you "think" something else based on your understanding and experience. The same "thinking" of things applies to the devs.

I dont know..maybebecause this was AGAIN started by a bunch of chucklenuts for engagment..
also stop backpeddling, you and yours are arguing to remove an entire mechanic from the game, people are asking why and were met with insults and crying. Its like talking to a bunch of children that in fact, no we dont need to remove something you dont like JUST because you dont like it.
there needs to be a concrete reason

The real issue is that this game is balanced around "The Economy"
which makes Magic Find builds an issue. Because you know. The Economy.

Given how many classes/builds can barely spare a single affix, it's bad. Given that some classes/builds can run around barely caring about more than 3 or 4 affixes per piece of gear and can stack magic find and still clear faster than what should be entirely viable classes/builds needing most gear to have 5 or 6 specific affixes per piece of gear makes it completely unbalanced. Furthermore, given that not everybody likes playing "magic find" builds is reason enough for it to be gotten rid of entirely.
Magic find should be a natural process that isn't tied to gear and should be redone to be implemented in part or in whole in the following ways:
1. Provide a buff to magic find as you play (character by character basis with an offline timer of 15 minutes as disconnect protection, but remaining in-game it doesn't run out). This buff should increase per magic, rare, and boss enemy killed. The buff should cap out reasonably quickly and the cap increases with each completed act, say reaching 60% at the end of campaign.
2. Building on 1, completing maps should also increase it in a cumulative fashion. Each map tier adds 1% per tier up to tier 10 with a 1% flat increase per tier, 5 completions of the appropriate tier reaches the cap of that tier, so tier 1 adds 5% after 5 completions, tier 2 is worth 2% capping at 10%, all the way to 10+ adding 10% per completion capping at 50%. Completing a 10, a 9, and 3 8's would bring the buff to 43%, doing 4 more tier 10+ maps would bring it to 50%
3. Content focusing should also increase MF for that content. Beat a boss? Next boss you fight has an extra 10% MF, increasing 10% per boss up to a cap of 50% for boss kills only. Beat a breach and completed the map? Next Breach you open, all breach mobs and hands have a 10% MF, adding 10% per completed breach up to 50%. Corrupted map? 10% MF on Corrupted creatures. Delirium? Expedition? Same deal. This rewards players that like or focus specific content.
4. All waystone mods should contribute to magic find, the more potentially dangerous the higher the MF, and still have the MF mod roll.
5. Every atlas passive tree node should increase MF at least slightly, with a branch focused exclusively on pumping base MF.
6. One/limited use items to add to the Traverse "inventory" when setting a waystone. Alternatively or additionally, purchase temporary MF from Doryani. The amount you can purchase is based on how many map tier quests you've completed, maybe starting at 25% after completely Tier 1 and increasing some small % per completed quest tier. This would cost gold (or a new currency) and that gold cost would increase along with the increase in MF, so it could be a great gold sink other than gamble.
you have some great points , but I thing it`s over-complicating it a bit..it would be easier if you could just add them as runes or craft them from the bench .. since you only need like 100-125% rarity, this should not be to hard to achieve ... and if a build can`t spare couple of affixes! when does that build come online ? because in my experience my first gloves with 4 good mods 2 resists , life , attack speed this was 4 not 6 ...was somewhere around lvl 76 ... if a build needs all the affixes ... that kinda sounds verry niche .. or not really a build untill you have 59 out of 60 affixes... that`s rough ! or 54 affixes if using 2handed weapons ... !! anyway moving on !!

You keep merging everyone that is debating you together in your head and it's showing in your comments dude it's weird. Yeah you had some rude and heated arguements with other people, but stop acting like everyone on these topics is doing that it's false generalizing and doesn't do anything except turn people away from your case.
People have also respectably given tons of concrete reasons in these "magic find/ item rarity" threads that I've seen you in. You keep ignoring valid discussion and focusing in on a few "empty" comments or rude comments and acting like those are the only ones here. That's just toxic and dismissive of actually constructive discussion.

I'm sorry but the only objections I see is of people just saying (you included) that it just doesnt feel right. That isnt justification to remove something that causes no tangeable harm.
Even if you try to reduce it to "Well if it doesnt have the effect we say it does why does it even exist" it still isnt a justification for its remove ale.
It just proves it was never about MF's actual affects and just people wanting it gone on principle
There is no "constructive" discussion there, thats tantamount to a philosophical debate at this point

its subjective. if you define poe1's current state as good, then its good.
but many people are becoming jaded with it and hate how poe1 is so for them its no good.
i like build diversity. the existence of mf necessitates players to factor in mf into their gear. it also necessitates hyper optimization. all this does is push the requirement of a "viable build" up higher as not being able to get a decent mf makes your build bad.
the gap between weaker players vs better players grows exponentially.
players are funneled into playing certain optimized builds. if everyone poe2 is all about following builds, then i might as well just play poe1 (i wont lol).
in anycase ggg is adamant about having mf no matter how much players hate it.
we'll just wait and see how things go.
actually that`s not the gear progression ... because clear speed is much better than rarity if you would have to chose between them ... so people with weak builds should get them builds stronger and then and only then should swap into magic find ... the gap between a weak(casual) player and a top 1% player supper efficien and ultra min-max er .. is something like 10.000 x that was stated by Johnatan ... and in POE 1 Was something like 100.000 or more depending on the league.... this is comming from the Director of POE 2 ... as for the necesity of mf-ing and killing diversity ... well that`s not the case because some people like me tested this "Broken" Magic Find ... 14h/day for weeks .. and reality is that you only need like 150% combined .. that`s gear + map + tree + tablets .... plenty of places to fit in some MF ...so this is just a FOMO created by some content creators ... trying to scare the more casual players and tell them the reason they don`t have gear is magic find when in fact the gear without MF is cheap AF ... because at the moment the game is new and they don`t know how to make builds...actually content creators from Diablo and other games made better builds than they did ! >:)
