How we can make divination cards farmable and don't hurm economy.

Guys, your fight is useless here. This thread and this forum is intended to make valuable advices and suggestions about the game so it can be improved! It's not about what you guys prefer or want the game to be. If you all read well, when the thread started, there IS a suggestion and a way to improve how divination card drop works. And in some point, the thread went to hell with all these arguments about "a hard game" or a "casual game".

Please, try to read better and try to HELP! There is an obvious problem with what divination cards intented to be when GGG announced them, and what they have become in the present. All i know is this: there is an actual problem when i can a get (for example) a Divination Distillate Flask running random maps, but if you try to get it "easier" by farming The Drunken Aristocrat, you are going to have a better chance of obtain the flask itself randomly.

So the best thing to actually try to work here, is that the divination card drops MATCH the unique drops for EACH different unique.

Well according to GGG div cards for uniques actually more than match the drop rate, but probability being the way it is you can't measure that when trying to get one of anything. The other problem is the OP is trying to push for an item mod that lets people farm set of the calling from the harvest in an hour or two.

"According to GGG" well maybe they are wrong, but i did a mistake there, the divination card drop DOES NOT NEED TO MATCH the unique drop, because that would be very unfortunate (its like saying i rather get the unique than the divination card that gives me the unique at the same rate).

To be clear, the divination card drops should be a percentage better and improved as the unique % chance to drop, thats how you help the game without breaking it, and thats how you get an equal chance for both uniques and divination cards.

EDIT 1: That's how you transform a 10.000 runs for The Brittle Emperor (yes, i did 10.000 runs without getting a single divination card), in 5.000 or less according to the % chance.

This is why I think PT got it right with an auction house solely for those (but hey, reddit downboats him). Preferably with base prices so people can just click lower cards into it. Ofc one should still be able to trade them normally. I suppose people might want to barter on expensive ones.

I would finish so many card sets if this existed, instead they just sit there because I rather wait to get lucky than to waste my time going back and forth getting cards from several people (and just think of the afk/offline/busy/etc) just to complete an average value set or/and gamble set (this problem really only does not affect the higher value sets or the situation when you only need one more and it isnt from a low value set)


EDIT: dont get me wrong, Id like them to be truly single player farmable.
But, considering the balance and how much GGG cares about the economy, I dont see it happen.

The only way you did 10,000 runs is by not actually killing voll, which is the only place where they can drop from.

I went straight to Voll every single run to be faster (like 200 runs a day when i tryed hard), i stopped after 2 months and nothing.

As i recall, the best way to fix this, is to create a certain chance % for divination cards to drop (better than the chance % to obtain what the card gives) according to the rarity of each unique / item they are giving. That would be fair.

Yes, u totaly right, they balanced around trade, not single player farming, they balanced around 1000 of man going dried lake and some guys will get that card.

I don't agree with that totaly, and i suggested the idea that can not hurm economy and still make cards farmable for 1 player.

Man... 5000 runs for 6 ex worth item? Be mercyfull to your own time...
It's should be worth time, it's a main trouble with divination cards farming.
If people want to farm some cards and make profit on it - make them proper gear for that, and they will spend a lot to gain a lot, this how farm works everywhere (u spend a lot and then, after some time, u gain profit more then u spend), but in PoE man can spend 100+ex on quantity gear and never profit from that purchase, cos connection between quantity-div.cards drop is SOOO bad.

I totaly agree, every thread shouldn't contain holywars and such in. I've suggested way to solve problem, if i missed something just add me, as a community we can solve this problem.
